Toilets fight

WHITCHURCH Parish Council has donated £750 to keep the public toilets in Pangbourne open.

A residents’ group representing both villages is campaigning to lease the facility in Station Road from West Berkshire Council, which had planned to shut them.

It needs £10,000 initially to re-open one cubicle and the disabled toilet and maintain them for 12 months.
