MEMBERS both past and present came together to celebrate 60 years of Wargrave Boat Club.

Around 120 guests attended the event in the River and Rowing Museum gallery on Saturday, November 27, where they enjoyed a champagne reception followed by a meal.

Club chairman Jane Swift presented trophies and bottles of wine to former chairs Chris Jennings and Carlton Barnard for their service to the club.

Committee member Beverley Davies said: “It was a fantastic event and the setting could not have been better.”
