10s success for U14s

Henley U14s took part in the Oxfordshire 10s tournament recently. Their first game was against Banbury with Henley running out 39—0 winners.



BOWLS
Peppard lose out to Suttons
On Thursday PEPPARD visited SUTTONS for a six rink friendly match, which Suttons won by 131 points to 97.


ROWING
Boys triumph at Dorney Lake
Henley Rowing Club’s junior boys had a successful day on Bank Holiday Monday at Marlow Spring Regatta, which was relocated at short notice from the river at Marlow to Dorney Lake in Eton.

Bethan and Rachel excel at Wallingford regatta
The 56th Wallingford regatta was held at Dorney Lake on Sunday over the London 2012 Olympic 2,000 metre course, where Henley Rowing Club’s women’s squad competed in their first regatta of the season.

CRICKET
Hurley get league campaign off to a winning start
There was renewed optimism at HURLEY as they got their Chilterns League campaign underway with an emphatic 137 run victory over COLESHILL.

Southgate struggle against Chamberlain's fast bowling
In an excellent spell of fast bowling on an unresponsive pitch, HENLEY 2nds’ Tim Chamberlain took five wickets as Henley beat SOUTHGATE 2nds by 13 runs to finish their warm up games unbeaten at the start of a season which promises much.

KIDMORE END 2nds visited AMERSHAM on Saturday and came away with a hard fought 46 run victory.
