Henley Hawks’ promotion hopes took a knock on Saturday as they crashed to a 21-17 defeat against mid-table Shelford at Dry Leas.

The result sees the Hawks slip to fifth place in the table, six points behind second placed Old Albanians and 12 behind league leaders Richmond.
