THE Sonning Common and Peppard B side took another step towards Reading and District League Division 1 survival after coming from 4-0 down to draw 5-5 with YMCA.

Keith Swain completed the recovery with a nail-biting 11-9, 10-12, 3-11, 12-10, 12-10, win against Pete Bradley in the final set of the night.

The C team’s Division 2 survival hopes are looking grim after they lost 9-1 at fellow strugglers Wokingham A. The C team now sit bottom of the table with only five matches left to play.

The E team continue to shine in Division 5 after Danny Dockree and Anthony Reeve trebles gave them an 8-2 win against their club mates from the F team to keep them in second place. The F team are now bottom of the division.

Matt Tarrant was again the star for the G team who beat Milestone C 8-2 in Division 6, Angus Jones and Derek Maltby also contributing with doubles.
