THE Rupert House team participated in the British Independent Schools Ski competition summer league at Hemel Hempstead.
This competition involved some of the best schools from across the South East of England which provided noteworthy opposition.
The Rupert House team entered the competition off the back of some promising training events on the Alps. In the U10 boys category, Emerson Proctor won by a margin of 5.5 seconds which was good enough to have also won the U12 boys race and finish second in the U14 boys race.
In the U12 girls race, Katy Pickup missed out on first place by one-hundredth of a second while Ellie Farrow finished in third place. Isla Farrow was competing in her first ever race in the U10 girls category and finished a commendable fourth.
The combined efforts of the team, meant that Rupert House won the mixed schools competition and all the racers go into the next round in June looking to win further silverware.
On Monday Rupert House fielded two full teams in the British Independent Schools ski summer league races at Hemel Hempstead and finished third overall with each girl racing twice.
The best placed Ruper House girl was Harriet Leveau who finished third in the individual U11s competition.
