HENLEY Rugby Club have announced a new two-year sponsorship agreement with Invesco Perpetual.
The fund management company, which is based in the town, has been the club’s major sponsor since 2005.
Club chairman Mike Trethewey said: “Like many community rugby clubs, we rely heavily on sponsorship and we are absolutely delighted that Invesco Perpetual has decided to continue supporting the club in this way.
“It is very welcome indeed.”
David Bower, marketing director at Invesco Perpetual, said: “Invesco Perpetual is pleased to support a club that not only brings to life the values we share of teamwork, commitment and performance, but also provides excellent facilities to Henley and the surrounding area.”
The Hawks are strengthening their squad in an attempt to bounce straight back into National League after being relegated on the last day of last season.
Director of Rugby Nigel Dudding said: “We are bringing in some new exciting talent to ensure we play the kind of fast-flowing rugby our supporters have, quite rightly, come to expect.”
The club will be in action again with a pre-season warm-up game against London Welsh at Dry Leas on August 9.
