HIGHMOOR ran out winners on Sunday at home to PEPPARD STOKE ROW KITES.
Having won the toss and choosing to bat, the Kites began with caution against the movement from D Stephens and Dinesh.
J Leach and G Legg put on an opening stand of 35 in 12 overs. W Legg and Leach then put on a 51 partnership before Rizmy removed them both with Leach making an impressive 63.
After this wickets fell at regular intervals with Rizmy and Gopi causing the damage, bowling the visitors out in 32 overs.
In reply the opening pair of brothers Rizmy and Shamil took the attack to Peppard, Rizmy in particular with vicious on-drives and pulls to mid wicket.
The introduction of veteran M Chard senior caused the home team some concerns with a wicket with his first ball and one in each of his first three overs halted the run chase.
I Harris strode to the wicket with Highmoor still needing 91 to win, and he and Rizmy steadied the ship with a 54 run partnership, one six from Harris flying over the pavilion and on to the road.
Two quick wickets left the home side still needing 33 but P Choules stayed with Harris for a 25 partnership to ease the worries. Harris hit the winning runs with eight overs to spare and remaining 46 not out.
