HENLEY Rowing Club’s veteran women’s squad needs a new coach.
The women are looking for one or two volunteers to coach on Saturday and Sunday mornings and possibly for one session during the week.
Karen Wade, a member of the squad, said: “This would really suit a retired sculler and is a fun way of keeping fit.
“There might be one person who wants to do all the sessions or a couple of people who want to do one day each.”
Outgoing coach Mark Compton said: “You will not meet a more enthusiastic, committed and social group of ladies who enjoy their rowing and want to continue to improve.
“They possess a full spectrum of abilities and they respond very positively to coaching and have even been known to provide the coach with the odd cup of tea during intervals.”
