HIGHMOOR were left 15 runs short of their target in their home match with READING LAWYERS on Sunday.
Batting first Reading Lawyers made a steady start with a stand of 40 for the second wicket. After Burrows was run out, three quick wickets left the visitors on 96-5.
A hard hitting 78 not out from Frost including a sixth wicket stand of 60 with Cobb saw a score of 218-8 off 40 overs. Highmoor used eight bowlers with Wells and Guyan taking two wickets each.
In reply the hosts got off to a good start with runs coming quickly from Remy and Ash.
Rizmy was caught for 19 and Les Wells fell quickly, but stands between Ash and Shamil, then Ash and Guyan threatened to win the game.
The introduction of Frost put an end to this as his 3-24 helped the Lawyers triumph.
