A FOOTBALL match between Goring United and Goring Cricket Club will take place on Boxing Day.
The teams will be competing for the Figgy Robertson Trophy in the annual contest at 10.30am.
Each squad will include past and present players from both sides and will finish with an “old boys” line-up.
It is expected to include Goring United chairman Paul Massey-Thompson, Goring Robins chairman Kevin Bovington and Goring Veterans chairman John Heelas.
Simon Browne, who helped to organise the fixture, said: “The usual rules will apply - mulled wine at half time, the cricket club sneaking as many extra players on to the pitch as possible and drinks in the social club after the match.”
