SWISS chef Michael Riemenschneider has bought the Black Boys Inn in Hurley.

He says the business will complement Canvas, his restaurant in Marylebone.

The Black Boys has a 50-cover restaurant and eight en-suite guest rooms.

Mr Riemenschneider said: "Since the first time that I visited the Black Boys Inn a number of years ago I always hoped to have my name above the door and I am very proud to have achieved this.

"The Black Boys Inn is all about keeping things simple — we offer good food, made from quality ingredients from local suppliers, served by our friendly team."

Mr Riemenschneider developed his skills with leading chefs including Heston Blumenthal and Gordon Ramsay. He has three rosettes from the AA Restaurant Guide and has been praised by the Good Food Guide.
