ALMOST £5,500 has been raised for the family of a Henley man who died in a fire.
More than 130 people have made donations to support Mark Sayer’s widow Jade and the couple’s children, Hudson, seven, and Mackenzie, four, following the tragedy.
Mr Sayer, 42, a landscape gardener, died when he was trapped in a burning shed in the garden of their home in Gravel Hill on Febraury 27.
Police and fire officers are investigating but his death is not being treated as suspicious. Friend Kate Newcombe set up a crowdfunding page for people to donate.
Mr Sayer’s funeral will take place at St Mary’s Church in Henley on Wednesday and the family have said that donations will go to the burns unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. To donate, visit www.justgiving.com/
