A CHANGE in the weather provided much colder conditions for Remenham Angling Society’s match at Whitehouse Lake at Tadley on Sunday which proved to be a low weight affair with three anglers failing to catch at all.

Winner on the day was Dick Shilitto who fished the pole at 12 metres with maggot to land four carp for 15lb.

In second place was Mark Bowles who fished similar tactics and weighed in two carp for 8lb 10oz and third was Trevor Pearce whose skimmer bream and perch weighed 3lb 4oz.

Section winners were Graham Dodd with 3lb 4oz and Ian Chaplin with 3lb 8oz.

Top points scores after six rounds of the winter league are Graham Dodd with 101, Dave Whightman with 95, Dick Shilitto with 91, Ian Chaplin with 90, Mark Bowles with 87 and John Hobbs with 86.
