REMENHAM Angling Society members were among 32 anglers from around the South East that lined the banks of Bowsaw and Billhook lakes for the Rodney Pook Memorial match, now in its fifth year.

John Beaseley fished the method feeder with pellet from peg two on Bowsaw weighing in 75lb 6oz of carp scoring him three points whilst his partner Trevor Pearce won his section on Billhook with 122lb of carp caught at 11 and five metres on the pole as well as down the edge all with meat, scoring one point giving them a total of four. Also scoring four points were Simon Kiefer and Tommy Hillier but Pearce and Beaseley’s superior weight gave them the victory.
