AWARD-winning artist Rebecca Lardner will unveil her new collection at the Lemongrove Gallery next Friday.

The artist, who paints sea and landscapes in oil on canvas, has completed a number of commissions for high-profile clients such as Sir Paul McCartney’s Music Academy. She has also illustrated a number of record sleeves.

Ms Lardner, who was born on the isle of Purbeck in Dorset, studied at Liverpool University. She will be guest of honour at the opening of her exhibition on Friday, April 19 from 7pm to 9pm. The collection will include her latest limited editions as well as some older images.

Gallery manager Kirsty Chapman said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Rebecca back to the gallery and showcase such a stunning collection.

“The demand for the work has spiralled since she won best up-and-coming artist at Fine Art Trade Guild Awards in 2010. I know many collectors will jump at the chance to see such an array of her work in one place.”

The exhibition runs from April 13 until April 30.
