THIS Halloween, Stonor has organised a fun-filled time for the children with a pumpkin trail in the park.
Decipher the questions that will lead you on to the next pumpkin and enjoy a treat at the end of the trail.
You will not be too far from our new Wonder Woods playground that will be open for the whole week — the park has been specially designed for children up to the age of 15.
We have created a challenging and innovative play space that will fire a child’s imagination and is guaranteed to offer fun for hours.
From soft white sand and water wheels to see-saw, rocking deer and swings for the toddlers, to big adventures further into the wooded landscape including an exciting wooden climbing structure, ropes and zip wire for the older children.
Grown-ups haven’t been forgotten, with lots of coffee, drinks, cakes and artisan snacks available at our visitor centre, including bathrooms and baby-changing facilities. There are benches as well as natural seating made from parts of an enormous sycamore tree from Stonor Park.
Please do join us and bring the whole family to make this Halloween a fun time for all.
We are also delighted to announce that from November 25 to 27, Country Homes & Interiors magazine will be hosting a Christmas fair on the lawns at the front of the house.
And looking ahead to the festive season, we will be opening the doors to the house for the first time in our 850-year history from Friday, November 25, to Sunday, December 4.
The booking line for advance tickets is (01491) 638587.
