£350,000 hall revamp

NEW plans for the redevelopment of Benson parish hall have been drawn up.

The project, which would cost more than £350,000, would involve the relocation of the parish office, the creation of an office that could be used to house the village’s post office and the refurbishment of the toilets.

The parish council intends to apply for grants towards the cost of the work.

The plans, which are the latest in a series of revisions, will be on display at the hall from November 14 to 19 with councillors present on the last day from 10am to noon.
