Mansfield’s rinks’ huge win helps Shiplake retain cup
SHIPLAKE retained this year’s Plomer Cup after gaining a comfortable victory at WATLINGTON on Tuesday of last week.

Shiplake won on all the rinks as they eased to a 142-56 victory.

The hosts can still finish as runners-up if they defeat Henley later this month.

SHIPLAKE defeated Oxford and District Division 1 champions HEADINGTON by 70 shots to 65 at Memorial Avenue last Thursday. The hosts picked up four points from their final league match of the season to the champions’ two.
