In the pursuit of comfort, practicality, convenience and innovative design, each property is considered individually in terms of external elevational treatments, internal layout and materials.

Traditional construction methods are used where possible in order to provide a unique home which satisfies the needs and aspirations of today’s lifestyles but will stand proud in its surroundings for years to come.

The interior designer’s brief was to design a scheme that would appeal to young couples and families.

“I wanted to create a modern stylised interior. I have used a cool colour palette throughout using silvers, whites and blacks. Textures are sleek and plush with the use of velvets, satin silks and leathers on furniture and soft furnishings.

“Feature wallpapers play a big part in the design creating a wow factor in each room — in the study I have used a new wallpaper from Osborne and Little which features a montage of classic Penguin books.

“The master bedroom has a beautiful metallic silver wallpaper with a large skeleton leaf design made out of tiny glass beads. I have created two zones in the large open planned kitchen/dining/family room. The large modern twin pedestal dining table laid for six people is great for entertaining or used daily for everyday life situated next to the kitchen area.”

Each kitchen incorporates a comprehensive range of floor and wall cabinets with stone work surfaces and up-stands, an under-mounted one-and-a-half bowl stainless steel sink is provided with wiring for a waste disposal for customer installation.

Siemens appliances are in natural steel finish and comprise an electric oven, extractor hood, combination microwave oven and five-burner gas hob. Integrated Siemens appliances include a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Contemporary ceramic floor tiling is provided and all kitchens are pre-plumbed for a water softener for customer installation.

All television points include pre-wiring for satellite TV and Sky Plus HD, subject to purchaser subscription with television points located in the living room, study, conservatory and all bedrooms. TV points are wired to a central position in the loft with an adjacent power supply for purchaser connection to an aerial/satellite system as well as cable to connect to the aerial/dish position.

Telephone outlets are located in the living room, conservatory, study and all bedrooms and adjacent to the intruder alarm control panel to allow purchaser connection and subscription to a monitored service if required.

Each home features a comprehensive electrical system, with chrome-rimmed down-lighters, chrome finish light switches fitted to all rooms, a dimmer switch is provided to the living room with a generous supply of chrome socket outlets provided throughout.

External lighting is provided to the front and rear of each property and a mains-fed smoke detector with battery back-up is fitted to the entrance hall and landing.

The designer added: “I have created a more relaxed seating area in the conservatory — it is lovely and light and fits a very large comfy sofa. In the drawing room on the first floor I wanted to create something more formal with seating either side of the fireplace and a secondary seating area for drinks next to the shagreen cocktail cabinet.

“In each bedroom I have a created an individual look — the second bedroom has a masculine feel, a desk creates a second study area and the third bedroom feels like a plush boutique hotel suite for guests to stay.”
