Dorata, which is run by brothers Angelo and Andrea Dorata, held a drinks reception for about 50 guests at the business in Hart Street, Henley.
Angelo, 40, who moved to Henley from Italy 21 years ago, set up the business in 2003 after leaving another salon. He said: ?I?ve been in hairdressing for 23 years and I was manager at my old salon when this place became available. I came here and started with a team of four people and now there are eight of us.?
The salon was originally called Angelo Dorata but six years ago was renamed Dorata to recognise it is a family-run business. As well as Andrea and Angelo, their sister Simona, 38, works as a stylist at the salon.
Andrea, 30, said: ?The family touch is one of the things that make us unique.?
Angelo added: ?We believe in making hair look beautiful, not just trendy. We believe it?s not just important what we do here but what the client does at home and we will always offer suggestions for ways to look good every day. We have always done that and we always will do.?
Customer Anne Daniels, 72, from Sonning Common, said: ?I?ve been coming here for nearly 10 years and my husband Arthur comes too. They look after us very well and I haven?t had a complaint in 10 years.?
