However, Katie Baldwin said the location is what makes these two homes so special. “Bix really offers the best of both worlds,” she said. “An edge-of-village location surrounded by picturesque countryside and yet only a few miles from the shops, cafés and transport facilities of central Henley. What’s more, a regular bus service to central Henley and further afield to Reading links up with the train to London — delivering passengers in less than half an hour.

“These properties are ideal for young families or downsizers who seek the idyll of a rural country life but want quick and easy access to local amenities and schools.
