A guitar signed by 16 acts at last year’s Rewind Festival is being auctioned off for a children’s charity.
The acoustic guitar, which has the signatures of Eighties stars including Billy Ocean, Chesney Hawks and Kim Wilde, will be sold by the Helen and Douglas House shop in Duke Street to help raise money for renovation work on Helen House in Oxford.
It was donated by another of the charity’s shops in Oxford and was passed around backstage at last year’s festival by Rewind’s artist liaison officer Jackie Peacock.
Mrs Peacock said: “When the acts are signed up they get passed over to me and I look after them during Rewind weekend.
“Rewind always tries to support local charities. All the artists are very good and always sign things that we can auction off for charity.”
