Volunteers and staff at Cancer Research UK shop in Duke Street, Henley, raised £1,024.43 as part of the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.
Nupur Salam, left, was among the volunteers who dressed up to take part in bucket collections outside the shop while other fund-raising initiatives included a cake sale and a tombola. There was also a human fruit machine in which Stephanie Herbert, Lorraine Beckett and Ursula Drewe dressed up in orange wigs and tutus and span around in the shop window 150 times in three hours.
Shop manager Shiri McAndrew said the fund-raising would continue until tomorrow (Saturday) and they hoped to raise £1,500. To make a donation, visit http://www.standuptocancer.org.uk
