A CHARITY quiz night raised £5,000 for the Sue Ryder hospice at Nettlebed.
About 160 people attended the event in a marquee in the hospice grounds at Joyce Grove.
The quiz was compered by Chris Spencer and Andy Tucker, of the In The Groove record shop in Reading Road, Henley.
Among the guests were supporters of the Henley Literary Festival and previous festival speakers Bryony Gordon, Mike Hurst and Lucy Cavendish. Mrs Cavendish?s team, called Never Say Clever Again, won.
Senior hospice fund-raiser Moira Logie said: ?It was a lovely event and I?d like to thank everyone who attended.?
