DECORATIVE poppies will be displayed on lampposts around Wargrave for Remembrance Day.
The poppies, which cost £3 from the Royal British Legion, will be put up in November.
The parish council has agreed to spend up to £50 on the poppies.
Councillor Andrew Cardy said: “I saw them last year in Arborfield Cross and thought they were fantastic.”
The decorative poppies scheme was founded by the Surrey branch of the Legion and has spread to parishes nationwide.
The council is to ask the Henley branch of the legion if it is planning to buy any poppies and whether its members would help put them up in Wargrave.
