New path plan for cyclists and walkers

THIS week’s public notices in the Henley Standard include the removal of a garage and a proposed front porch and single-storey side extension in Niagara Road, Henley.

At Highlands Park, in Highlands Lane, developer Crest Nicholson wants to build 131 homes in a scheme which includes creating a community centre, employment space, public open space, relocating the Chiltern Centre and land for up to 20 community land trust residential units.

An application for a new conservatory to the rear elevation of a property in Bowling Court, off the Fair Mile in Henley, has been submitted. There is also a variation of conditions on approved plans, to convert the first and second floor of 27 to 31 Market Place, to provide four one-bedroom apartments with internal alterations.

The revised internal layout adds two additional rooflight and roof access dormer changed to access rooflights for the first and second floors of the buildings.

South Oxfordshire District Council, the planning authority, also intends to allow the easement of about 108 sq m of a parcel of land at the north end of Luker Avenue, Henley, so a new pedestrian and cycleway can be created.
