THE winter coat is well and truly out of the wardrobe and it’s time to start thinking about getting prepared for Christmas.
One place to head when you are wrapped up warm is the Henley-on-Thames Christmas Market which runs from Friday, November 18, to Sunday, November 20.
The event will offer minced pies and mulled wine — with a range of international and homemade goods on sale from stalls in Henley’s Market Place.
Filling and tasty treats will be sold by a range of traders including Brockleby’s Pies, Baking in Progress, Pig and Dragon, Horsebox Coffee, Crepe Expectations and Pepes Churros. Stalls selling crafts, art and accessories — perfect for those stocking fillers — will also be there, including from Skipton Gifts, Maya Crafts, Gifticuffs, Westmorland Sheepskins and the Organic Hamper Company.
The market is open from noon to 7pm on the Friday, 9am to 7pm on the Saturday and 10am to 5pm on the Sunday. Entry for visitors is free and there will be live music and entertainment.
The event is organised by Market Square Group and further information is available on the website www. marketsquaregroup.co.uk
