THE Kenton Theatre has announced a fun Christmas competition for parents with young children, in the run-up to this year’s panto, Aladdin.
The challenge is to go on a treasure hunt and find the 10 Aladdin’s lamps that have been placed in the windows of 10 of the shops in central Henley.
There are three lamps to find in shop windows on Bell Street, three on Hart Street, three on Duke Street and one in Market Place — and all of them can be seen when standing outside on the pavement.
The fabulous prize for the winner of the Aladdin’s Lamp Treasure Hunt is a backstage tour of the Kenton Theatre during the pantomime’s run (from December 19 t0 28), with an opportunity to meet some of the cast and take home some Christmas goodies.
To enter the Aladdin’s Lamp Treasure Hunt competition, please provide the following information on a postcard:
1. Which 10 shops have hidden Aladdin’s lamps in their shop windows?
2. Child’s name and age
3. Parent’s/guardian’s name, contact telephone number and email address.
Either post or hand in your entry (in an envelope marked “Aladdin’s Lamp Treasure Hunt”) to the Kenton Theatre, New Street, Henley-on-Thames, Oxon RG9 2BP, or email it to email@example.com
Entries are limited to one entry per child, and terms and conditions apply.
The winner’s name will be picked at random out of a hat, shortly after the closing date of Saturday, December 14 and the winner will be notified within three days.
