THE popular Thame Craft, Food & Gift Fair returns on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November
THE popular Thame Craft, Food & Gift Fair returns on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1 with a new show layout.
For the first time at Thame we are bringing our country kitchen. TV chefs Marcus Bean on Saturday and Holly Bell on Sunday are joining Adrian and Andy from the Crabstock Festival who are there both days to give you some entertaining demonstrations.
Adrian and Andy will show you how to prepare and cook great shellfish and seafood dishes. There will also be the food halls where national retailers and producers will be selling delicious food and gifts to take home.
There’s a lot to see and buy in the main craft marquee where artists, designers and craftsmen from around the UK will be exhibiting and demonstrating their skills. New this year is the countryside arena — this may be your last chance of the year to see majestic shire horses, magnificent birds of prey, an owl show and the popular children’s favourites, the ferrets.
The final element of the fair is the large gift marquee which plays host to a wide range of gifts, ladies’ fashion jewellery, tweed clothing and household goods. With Christmas just around the corner it’s a great early shopping opportunity.
The fair is open from 10am to 6pm daily at the Thame Showground, Kingsey Road, Thame. Entry is £6.50 for adults, £6 for over-65s and £2 for children.
