Copas Traditional Turkeys are proud to continue the tradition, producing poultry on their farm in the rolling hills of Cookham.
The ethos at Copas Traditional Turkeys is simple — there is simply no room to cut corners or take short cuts when producing exceptional quality birds.
They source their poultry from the finest British hatcheries and arrive at the farm at just a day old, ready for a stress-free life at the farm. Once these ladies are old enough they spend their days waddling, leaping and foraging in cherry orchards and spacious meadows. The husbandry team, including the lovely turkey dog Kes, are always on site ensuring that the turkeys are looked after for the duration of their stay. The birds live for three times longer than your standard turkey.
A mature bird will have more meat and wonderful fat coverage, making for an altogether more delicious end result.
Once production starts, Copas Traditional Turkeys continue to treat the bird with the utmost care which is why all of their turkeys are plucked by hand and game hung for up to two weeks.
The birds come boxed in beautiful branded packaging, complete with giblets, rosemary and a pop-up timer.
