THIS snowdrop festival at St Botolph’s Church in Swyncombe will begin tomorrow (Saturday).
Snowdrop teas will be held at the church on the next three weekends from 2pm to 4pm. Cakes, teas, jams, preserves, books and gifts will be on sale.
Visitors will be able to see a carpet of snowdrops and yellow aconites in the churchyard.
A choral Eucharist will be held at 10am on Sunday and Rev Christopher Evans will bless the snowdrops at 2.30pm.
Entry is free and there are signs on the B481 to direct visitors. All proceeds will go to church funds.
Last year, the festival raised almost £3,800 despite two weekends being hit by snow.
