Spiritual discussion

A DISCUSSION course for people to explore the meaning of life and other “big questions” starts at the d:two centre

A DISCUSSION course for people to explore the meaning of life and other “big questions” starts at the d:two centre in Henley this month.

The Alpha course is designed to encourage discussion on spiritual topics and to look at the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly environment.

Hosted by Henley Baptist Church, it begins with a launch party on Tuesday which is open to anyone.

Russell Martin, assistant pastor of the church and the centre manager, said: “There will be food, chat and an opportunity to hear about how beginning a relationship with God changed someone’s life. We hope that anyone who wants to know more about the Alpha course will come along and chat to us.

“The course is available to all at no cost and people are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as they want.”

The course will be held at the d:two centre in Market Place on Tuesdays at 7.45pm. Each session features a meal followed by a short talk or video and an open discussion.
