MUSIC lovers are invited to enjoy an evening of entertainment at the sixth annual Choir Festival in Henley.
The event has seven choirs taking part who will perform at St Mary’s Church on Saturday, January 24.
They will showcase their singing skills in the first half of the programme. The combined choirs, together with other singers, will then be performing the Charpentier Messe de Minuit.
This year’s festival will be raising funds for Helen & Douglas House.
Choirs are currently taking part from St Mary’s, All Saints in Rotherfield Peppard, St Nicholas Church in Rotherfield Greys, St Mary’s Hambleden Valley Group Choir, St John the Baptist in Kidmore End, St Margaret’s in Harpsden, and Sorores, an all-female choir under the direction of Anne Evans, founder of the Aliquando choir.
If you would like to join the choirs the rehearsal for the Messe de Minuit is at 4.30pm with the performance at 7pm.
Tickets for both performers and audience members are £5 and can be obtained on the door from 2pm on the day.
