A CHURCH is to run a second free club to help jobless people get back into work.

A CHURCH is to run a second free club to help jobless people get back into work.

Members of Henley Baptist Church, who have had specialist training from the charity Christians Against Poverty, are offering weekly workshops for unemployed people. The club is based at the d:two centre in Market Place and was first held late last year.

Manager Douglas Ullah said: "The club includes sessions on creating a winning CV, perfecting interview techniques and how to effectively search for work."

A taster session will take place on March 26, followed by a nine-week course. Sessions are held on Thursdays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

To book your place, call Mr Ullah on 07711 756940 or Mark Sayers on 07894 607968.
