Map lecture

A CARTOGRAPHER will give a lecture at a meeting of the Henley Society on Thursday.

Nick Millea will present “The message in maps: what the cartographer is telling us and why” at King’s Arms Barn, off King’s Road, at 7pm. All are welcome.

Mr Millea is responsible for the Bodleian Libraries’ map collection, which comprises 1.25 million maps, some dating back to the 14th century, and 20,000 atlases as well as a growing digital collection.
