Whitchurch & Goring Heath History Society

“TRAVELS with Auntie” is the title of our last meeting this year, an account of former foreign correspondent Alastair Lack’s career at the BBC.

After studying history at University College Oxford, he taught in India and worked in publishing in New York before starting his career at the BBC in 1971.

We are promised an entertaining and informative evening, dealing with events we all remember from the recent past.

The date is Thursday, November 16, the time 7.30pm and the venue Goring Heath parish hall. All welcome, non-members pay £3, which includes tea/coffee and biscuits, served from 7pm.
