RESIDENTS of Goring have been asked to give their views on plans for a new activity area in the village.
The Goring and Streatley Amenity Association wants to build an outdoor facility as part of a drive to improve people’s health.
The scheme, called Gap Fun and Fitness, would include equipment for all ages and could cost up to £50,000.It could include an outdoor gym, climbing equipments, a zip-wire, ping-pong table or ramps for skateboards and bicycles.
The assoication has launched a survey to find out what people would prefer and where they feel would be a suitable location.
In October, it suggested building a £30,000 activity area just for teenagers on Sheepcot Field or land at Ferry Lane.
