SIXTY members of the British Boy Scout Association staged a St George’s Day parade in Goring.
The boys, including many from the 2nd Goring and Streatley pack, assembled in Red Cross Road following a bugle call by scout master Alan Clark.
They marched along High Street led by Maj Dixie Ingram, a former member of the Scots Guards, who played the bagpipes.
The scouts crossed the bridge into Streatley and filed into St Mary’s Church for a commemorative service led by scout master David Cooksley.
They renewed their promise and watched a presentation about the charity work the organisation has carried out in Uganda.
