Singalong with voices of Charvil

CHARVIL Voices and Reading Accordion Group will hold a joint concert this month.

CHARVIL Voices and Reading Accordion Group will hold a joint concert this month.

The event will take place at Charvil village hall on Monday March 18 at 8pm.

The concert is a follow-up to last year’s and will feature 25 choir members and eight accordion players. All proceeds will go to Launchpad, a charity that helps Reading’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged people.

Musical director Suzanne Newman said: “The choir is singing a very wide range of music, including musical theatre, some popular and some classical pieces.

“There will also be a sing-along so the audience can join in as well, with the accordion playing. Last year was very successful and the hall was packed so I am hoping this year will be the same.

“It is a great evening with something for everyone and I am really hoping that everyone enjoys it.”

Tickets for the concert cost £5 and are available by calling 0118 934 0589.
