Tennis club raises funds

A COFFEE morning held at Wargrave Tennis Club raised £213 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Members made cakes and scones

A COFFEE morning held at Wargrave Tennis Club raised £213 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Members made cakes and scones which were enjoyed after club practice two days last month. The club will hold an open day as part of the Wargrave Village Festival on Sunday, June 23. Both adults and juniors are welcome and there will be free coaching available. The junior club tournament will again run throughout the summer term and the Road to Wimbledon competition will take place on April 21. The winners will go through to a county final and the national final will be held at Wimbledon.
