ABOUT 75 professional and up-and-coming artists exhibited their work at this year’s Henley Arts Trail.

ABOUT 75 professional and up-and-coming artists exhibited their work at this year’s Henley Arts Trail.

The eighth annual event, which took place during the bank holiday weekend, was held across 25 venues in the town and the surrounding area. Organiser Jo Sinclair said many visitors viewed works in more than one venue.

“I think that footfall has been a lot higher than last year and sales have been steady,” she said. “Lots of people have said lovely things about the selection of work on offer.”

Husband and wife Dan and Wendy Nicholson were among the artists who exhibited their work in Shiplake memorial hall.

Other pieces on display included artworks designed on a iPad by Diana Seidl and textile pieces using LED lights by Kate Findlay, chairman of Henley Arts and Craft Guild.
