AFTERNOON tea will be served at Bix village hall tomorrow (Saturday) to mark the 100th anniversary of the building.

The hall, which is next to St James’ Church, is the only community asset in Bix and Assendon parish and is the home of the Bix Montessori School. It has been brought up to modern standards with refurbishment of the kitchen and toilet and installation of a new oak floor.

Residents and guests are invited to enjoy a free afternoon tea and a chance to meet their neighbours between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.
