GUIDES helped plant three tubs in Hill Road car park in Watlington.
The girls planted box trees, alpine strawberries and campanula and euonymus plants with assistance from members of Watlington in Bloom and will help water the planters over the summer.
Guide leader Jo Bartlett said: “We are always really keen to get involved in what is going on in the community so it was nice to be asked.”
Terry Jackson, co-ordinator for Watlington in Bloom, said: “We want to get children into horticulture and encourage them to care for the environment.”
Two planters filled with strawberries have also been placed outside the car park.
