A WEEKLY fitness course for the over-60s is to be held at Woodcote village hall, beginning on February 5.
Go Active Gold, which is run by South Oxfordshire District Council, will include a range of activities to improve the physical and mental health of older residents in rural areas.
There will be courses of eight to 10 weeks in a range of activities such as pilates, yoga, table tennis, Nordic walking and bowls. It is being funded by a £227,269 grant from Sport England.
The first event, which will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm, will offer taster sessions and basic fitness assessments.
