Bring and Buy sale boosts Riding for the Disabled

STOKE ROW beaver scouts held a bring and buy sale and raised £275.28 for the Henley

STOKE ROW beaver scouts held a bring and buy sale and raised £275.28 for the Henley Riding for the Disabled group.

The group is based at Checkendon and teaches students from The Henley College with varied disabilities and special needs and children from Stoke Row Primary School. Learning to ride gives the riders balance, co-ordination, strength and, importantly, confidence. This can improve behaviour in school and a desire to try more sports. Anyone interested in helping on 2pm on Wednesday afternoons at Checkendon Equestrian Centre should call Jane Brazil on (01491) 641239
