Shappi Khorsandi brings stand up comedy to the Maidenhead stage

One of Britain’s most beloved and most 'scatter-brained' stand-ups is visiting Maidenhead in September.

Shaparak Khorsandi: Scatterbrain takes place at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Thursday, September 11 at 8pm.

Shappi Khorsandi reassessed her life through the prism of an ADHD diagnosis in last year’s funny and moving memoir.

Now she lets you back into her mind (warning: it’s cluttered in there).

The comedian, author, speaker and advocate for human rights established herself as one of the UK’s finest comedians with her sell-out Edinburgh show, Asylum Speaker.

Shappi’s sensitive yet witty exploration of her experiences created an instant comedy smash hit.

Her career has taken her to all corners of the globe.

She has appeared on countless TV and Radio shows including Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, I’m a Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here, Mock The Week and her own show, Shappi Talk.

Shappi is also a keynote speaker, handling serious subjects with a sprinkling of humour.

She is a popular speaker on topics surrounding diversity and inclusion and mental health.

Among other things, this show will be a love letter to letter-writing, a trip back through her early years as a comic and women-about-town and a whirlwind tour of a chaotic, hilarious brain.

Tickets are £19.50 at https://norden.farm/events/shaparak-khorsandi-scatterbrain
