PEOPLE from across South Oxfordshire gathered for a winter remembrance event to celebrate the lives of loved ones they have lost.
The event, which was held in the Great Hall at University of Reading, was organised by Sue Ryder and led by the charity’s head of family support Ken Blanton.
It included readings, poems and a live performance by professional pianist Anita D’Attellis, from Henley, and the Glee Choir
Guests were given the opportunity to make a dedication in memory of someone special for display on a Celebrate a Life wall.
Hannah Richards, community fundraising manager at the Sue Ryder palliative care hub South Oxfordshire, said: “It was a very moving evening, where we were able to pay tribute to friends and family who have died. It was wonderful to see so many people join us for an evening of reflection.”
