Sonia Balmont has become the first employee of catering and hospitality company CH&Co Group to complete a customer service level 2 course in her own time while working at the Sue Ryder hospice in Nettlebed. The kitchen worker is one of more than staff at the Dunsden-based company to have embarked on training and development supplied by education and training a specialist Learning Curve Group. Sonia, who works at the hospice part-time, said: “It was a case of sitting down for a few hours each evening for a couple of weeks to complete the course. I found that it has greatly refreshed my customer service skills.”
