A WOMAN from Woodcote has achieved her childhood dream of walking on the wings of an aeroplane in flight.
Hayley Pearson, 26, took to the skies on a Boeing- Stearman biplane that was built in the Thirties for the American navy.
She was tethered to the top wing of the aircraft, which flew in circles 100ft above Chiltern Park Aerodrome, near Ipsden, for 10 minutes.
The flight was organised as a surprise by her father Dennis, who runs the private airfield with her mother Julie.
Miss Pearson, of Wayside Green, was just four when she was first taken up in a plane by her father and she has loved flying ever since.
