AN author from Watlington has been shortlisted for an award which recognises new writers.

AN author from Watlington has been shortlisted for an award which recognises new writers.

Liz Harris, of St Leonard’s Close, is one of nine authors in the running for the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Joan Hessayon Award.

Her novel, The Road Back, is based on the diary her uncle kept while travelling in Ladakh, a remote country to the west of Tibet, in the Forties.
